Privacy notice

This says what EZEKO does with your information when we build your store. Your shop has its own privacy policy for your customers; this one is about you.

What we collect

What you tell us in the setup chat: your business name and contact details, where your business is, your product information and photos, and - if you are registered to collect sales tax - your registration numbers, because they have to appear on your customers' receipts.

What we do with it

We use it to build and run your store, to invoice you, and to email you about your store. We do not sell it, and we do not use it for anything you did not come to us for.

Who else sees it

Only the service providers we need to run the service: hosting, payment processing, and email delivery. Some of them are outside Canada. They may only use your information to provide their service to us.

Your customers' payment details never reach us: card numbers are entered on Stripe's own secure checkout and we never see or store them.

If you connect a selling account such as eBay, we keep an encrypted key that lets your store update your listings there, and the order number, items and amount of each sale made there, so your stock stays right. We do not keep those buyers' names, addresses or contact details. You can disconnect at any time from Connected accounts in your store admin.

How long we keep it

As long as your store is with us, and afterwards as long as we have to for tax records. If you ask for a refund, your store is kept for 60 days in case you want it back, then removed.

Your choices

Ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it at axolotlarmy08@gmail.com. We will answer within 30 days. You can also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Changes

If we change this notice we will say so on this page, and tell you if the change matters to you.
